The 70,000 square ft. building will be turned into a state-of-the-art preparation centre, allowing them to offer up to 700 cars at any one time.

cartime, a Bury-based independent used car dealership, have just signed the lease on an industrial building not far from their main showroom, which over the next 12 months will be turned into one of the country’s largest and most technically advanced preparation centres.

The expansion of cartime will allow them to double their stock to up to 700 prestige used cars, giving their customers even more choice when it comes to finding their perfect car.

cartime’s current preparation centre is located on the site of the main showroom on Bell Lane,  Bury and is where their cars undergo rigorous mechanical checks, repairs and a thorough valeting, bringing them to ‘as good as new’ condition before they are sold.

By investing in this new building and upscaling their preparation capabilities, it will mean that cartime will not only be able to process more cars, but they will also be even more rigorous and detailed in their prep work.

Matt Kay, cartime’s director said; “Two of cartime’s main selling points have always been the choice and the quality of the cars we have on offer. The new preparation centre will mean more mechanics, more technicians and better equipment. This will allow us to process more cars to a more exacting standard, which will ultimately lead to even higher customer satisfaction rates.”

Since they were formed in 2012, cartime has gone from strength to strength, starting off with around 50 cars and a vision of offering ‘a new way to buy a used car’. By committing themselves to selling only the highest quality used prestige cars, providing unrivalled aftercare and attractive finance packages, they have grown the business to become one of the North West’s leading independent dealerships, stocking over 350 cars at any one time.

All their cars are available on 0% finance and for a limited time only, they are offering a 5-month payment holiday, so their customers can enjoy the summer by driving away today and paying nothing for five months.”
