Castellum invests for SEKm 180

  • Acquires “Kungsporten” between Gothenburg and Kungsbacka

The Castellum AB (publ) subsidiary Harry Sjögren AB, has acquired the property Bolsheden 1:4 adjacent to the traffic route to Särö in Kungsbacka, totalling approx. 17,800 sq.m. The investment amounted to SEKm 154 and change of possession took place October 5, 2015.

The property – called Kungsporten – is well located with connections to both Gothenburg and Kungsbacka. Kungsporten consists of seven office and retail buildings built 1991. The property holds over 80 customers operating in grocery and wholesale trade as well as the healthcare sector. The occupancy rate is 86%.

”The acquisition means that we grow with flexible office and retail premises with many interesting customers in a growth market, which is in line with our strategy” says Henrik Saxborn, CEO at Castellum AB. “The acquisition is a good supplement to Harry Sjögren AB´s existing property portfolio”.

In Hisingsbacka, Gothenburg, Eklandia Fastighets AB has started an extension of 1,650 sq.m. fully let warehouse premises on a property of 4,090 sq.m. The investment is calculated to SEKm 26, of which SEKm 1 refers to own land, and to be completed in June 2016.
