Castellum invests SEKm 645 in Halmstad campus area
Castellum AB (publ) has through the wholly owned subsidiary Harry Sjögren AB acquired nine properties in the campus area in Halmstad. The acquisition includes the landmark ”Trade Center”, the highest building in Halmstad and the highest building between Malmö and Gothenburg.
The investment, which totally includes nine properties in the established campus area approx. two kilometers south east of the city center, amounted to SEKm 645. The change of possession has taken place.
The largest tenant is Halmstad University, which was established 1983 and today has an operation involving 10,000 students and 600 employees.

The acquired property portfolio has an occupancy rate of 95% and consists of 43,500 sq.m. of which 30,850 sq.m. is office premises and the rest is retail and education facilities, warehouse and library. The transaction means that Castellum through the subsidiary Harry Sjögren AB more than doubles the property portfolio in Halmstad, from approx. 35,000 sq.m. to 78,500 sq.m.
