Catella advisor to Citycon in sale of Torikeskus Shopping Centre in Seinäjoki

Catella has advised in Citycon Oyj’s sale of the Torikeskus Shopping Centre. Citycon has signed an agreement to sell the property, which is located in Seinäjoki. The purchaser is a local investor. The closing of the transaction is estimated to take place before the end of the year.

The purchase price is EUR 14.7 million and the gross leasable area of Torikeskus is approximately 11,000 sq.m.

“The Torikeskus deal is in line with Citycon’s strategy. We decided to sell the centre to recycle capital and concentrate on our core property portfolio. The centre has limited strategic value for us.” said Nils Styf, Chief Investment Officer at Citycon.

Torikeskus, located in the centre of Seinäjoki, is one of the Southern Ostrobothnia market’s foremost shopping centres. Torikeskus is located in the heart of the city, close to the market square.
