Catella advisor when sports chain XXL chooses new retail centre in Suomenoja, Espoo

XXL Sports & Outdoor will be the main operator in Julius Tallberg Real Estate’s new retail centre in Suomenoja, Espoo. The Suomalaistentie Retail Centre will be developed by YIT Construction Ltd. and be ready in the spring of 2015.

The value of the lease contract is approximately EUR 16 million. The total area of the retail centre is approximately 8,200 sq.m., of which XXL will occupy more than 4,000 sq.m.

XXL is an international sports and recreation chain that is currently expanding into Norway, Sweden and now also Finland. In addition to XXL, the new retail centre will house other recreation shops as well as restaurants.
