Catella closes successful capital acquisition for newly listed Baltic Horizon
Catella has acted as financial advisor to fund management company Northern Horizon Capital in connection with capital raising and market listing of Baltic Horizon Fund. The public offering is now successfully completed and Catella has raised approximately EUR 25 million during June.
During the process Catella acted as financial advisor and lead manager of the public offering in Sweden and manager of the institutional offering in Luxembourg in relation to capital raising and listing of Baltic Horizon Fund, which is managed by Northern Horizon Capital.
“This has been a team effort in which Catella Bank conducted capital raising during a focused process over two weeks in June, together with Catella’s Corporate Finance unit in Stockholm. The thorough preparatory work we conducted earlier last autumn paved the way for stability throughout the process,” says Dennis Nygren, Head of Wealth Management at Catella.
Baltic Horizon Fund is a real estate fund with no particular lifetime focusing on centrally located commercial property in the capitals of the Baltic countries.
“Despite financial instability due to Brexit we have now successfully closed this capital acquisition. The strong market reactions following Brexit have affected interest from certain investors in the short term. For other investors, conversely, interest in centrally located commercial properties in the capitals of the Baltic countries has increased,” says Martin Malhotra, project manager at Catella.
