Marcus Andersson joins Catella’s funds
Marcus Andersson has been appointed as the new head of Mid Office at Catella’s fund management operations. Marcus has extensive experience in banking and finance, and joins us from a role as head of Middle Office at Nordnet Bank.

Catella has high ambitions for its fund management and Marcus, with his solid background in back office, middle office and front office, will be an excellent complement to the existing team,” says Erik Kjellgren, head of the Swedish fund operations.
“Catella has grown significantly in fund management in recent years, and we are now further strengthening the team in order to develop the business. This recruitment forms the foundation of a new Mid Office, which will be separated from the existing Business Support. The need for support surrounding fund management is becoming increasingly important with, for example, both authorities and clients requiring more in terms of reporting. We have a high level of ambition throughout our operations, which means an enhanced Mid Office is critical,” says Erik Kjellgren.
Marcus Andersson will join us on 1 September 2016. Marcus has extensive experience of administration, valuation and financial risk analysis, and joins us from a role as head of Middle Office at Nordnet Bank. During the period 2006-2012 he worked with everything from fund administration and analysis to management of multi-strategy funds at Swedbank Robur, before in 2013 taking responsibility for building up a Middle Office at Nordnet Bank.
