Change of President at Scribona In connection with the Annual General Meeting of Scribona on May 5, the current President and CEO Örjan Håkanson will leave his post in the company. Lennart Svantesson has been appointed as the new President and CEO as of that date. Lennart Svantesson has been a member of Scribona's Board for the past two years, and comes most recently from a position as head of Nordic operations in the international management consulting company Arthur D. Little, where he has also been active in the company's European management. Örjan Håkanson has been President and CEO of Scribona since 1992, when Scribona was hived off from Esselte to form an independent listed company. "After eight years as CEO, I feel it is the right time for me to leave Scribona and for a new President to take over ", says Örjan Håkanson. "From having been a highly diversified company, an extensive process of streamlining and focusing has been carried out. We have now developed a future-oriented structure and organization for Scribona, which makes this a well chosen opportunity for a new President to take over", continues Håkanson. Lennart Svantesson was hired by Arthur D. Little in 1994 to head the company's global automotive industry operations, and since 1996 has led Arthur D. Little's Nordic expansion. " After a long industrial career, these years have given me not only international consulting experience, but also valuable experience of managing a knowledge company both in Sweden and abroad," says Lennart Svantesson.
