Scribona seeks delisting from Oslo Stock Exchange Scribona is registered on the A list of the Stockholm Stock Exchange (SSE) and has a secondary listing on the Oslo Stock Exchange (OSE). The annual general meeting on 7 May 2003 voted unanimously to seek delisting of the company's share from the Oslo Stock Exchange. Scribona has now submitted an application to the Oslo Stock Exchange and has proposed 20 October 2003 as the final trading day. The secondary listing on the Oslo Stock Exchange is a result of the company's merger with PC LAN ASA in 2001. The shareholders in PC LAN ASA were paid in the form of shares in Scribona and were allowed to retain the registration with VPS (the Norwegian Central Securities Depository) and thereby trade Scribona shares over the Oslo Stock Exchange. The main motive for delisting is that the volume of shares traded over the Oslo Stock Exchange is low and irregular. Another incentive is to save the costs of maintaining a secondary listing. In connection with delisting, the small shareholders registered with VPS (the Norwegian Central Securities Depository) will be given to opportunity to sell their shares simply and free of charge, and thereby avoid the extra costs associated with ownership of foreign shares. All shareholders who are registered with VPS will be informed when the Oslo Stock Exchange has dealt with the application. The company's listing on the Stockholm Stock Exchange will not be affected and trading on SSE will continue as usual.
