Caverion contributes to clean water on Gotland, Sweden
Caverion has signed an agreement with the Region Gotland on electricity and automatic control installations for the new wastewater treatment plant in Klintehamn, Gotland.
“The water issue is constantly relevant on the island and in this case our contribution to society is especially clear. We have previously worked with treatment plants and waterworks. It is our company’s strength to be able to bring in additional resources from across the country. We have built a solution with high quality and cost efficiency that will, in the end, benefit Gotland’s residents,” says Fredric Dahlgren, district manager of Caverion.
The installations are expected to commence in early May and the project will continue until the end of June 2018.
The new wastewater treatment plant will also be expanded with a new pool for the construction of Sweden’s largest desalination plants. The desalination plant is scheduled to be operational by summer 2019 and will then have a capacity of 20,000 subscribers.
