Caverion delivers technical solutions worth EUR 12 million for a new factory complex in Germany
Caverion has signed a contract with the general contractor Ed. Züblin AG to deliver technical solutions for a new factory complex of Leoni near the city of Nuremberg. Leoni is a leading European supplier of cables and cable systems for the automotive industry and other industries. The project includes the disciplines of Heating & Sanitation, Cooling, and Ventilation. The value of the contract is approximately EUR 12 million.
The new building complex will have a total surface area of 57,000 m2 and will house a production site, a laboratory and development centre, and an administrative wing. In addition to the production of cables for the automotive industry as well as for telecommunications and infrastructure, Leoni intends to expand its research and development of state-of-the-art data lines for autonomous driving.
