Albany X Mini Moderns
A Celebratory Wallpaper Collaboration For 100 Years of Albany
To mark the occasion Keith Stephenson and Mark Hampshire, the fabulous designers at Mini Moderns, were given free rein to create two new patterns from a decade of their choice. Unsurprisingly, based on the duo’s signature style, the pair were immediately drawn to the mid-century years of the 1950s and 1960s and so Atelier and FAB! were born!
Atelier, a fifties inspired design, is based on the treasured finds of Keith and Mark’s visits to the galleries and markets of Paris. The paper features hand drawn shapes and forms of vintage home accessories inspired by mid-century European art. Atelier is surface printed on a luxurious fibrous paper for added texture and tactility and is available in Midnight & Copper, Snow & Gold, Rose Marais, and Sage.

Taking its name from Fab 208 pop magazine, FAB! is very much drawn from the sixties and features a bold, large scale geometric print. Taking inspiration from Pop, Op and Hard Edge painting movements, Keith and Mark also drew upon their love of sixties fashion for the design, from Carnaby Street to Mary Quant and interiors by Verner Panton. FAB! is available in Washed Denim & Copper, British Lichen & Gold, Mustard, and Harvest Orange.
