Tobacco Use in Turkey Declines Significantly; Results Informed by CDC and CDC Foundation Work With The Global Adult Tobacco Survey

The Government of Turkey today announced that 1.2 million fewer Turkish adults smoked cigarettes in 2012 versus 2008. In its announcement, the Turkish government cited results from its 2012 Global Adult Tobacco Survey (GATS).
