Cell Impact receives VINNOVA funding for collaboration with RISE on future production technology
Cell Impact AB (publ) has initiated a collaboration with RISE IVF AB on the next generation of production technology for the production of metal flow plates for hydrogen-fueled fuel cells. The project runs over six months and is jointly financed by Cell Impact and Vinnova.
The goal of the project is to develop a concept for the next generation of Cell Impact's production process for bipolar flow plates. Within the framework of this work, the project will evaluate and propose new production technologies that can eliminate bottlenecks and at the same time, produce the desired quality at a competitive cost.
- "If we are to replace fossil fuels with environmentally friendly alternatives such as fuel cells, the production cost must decrease significantly as volumes increase," says Mr. Anders Öberg, CTO at Cell Impact. "For our part, it begins the journey in high automation and use of the very best technology throughout our manufacturing process. It will be exciting to collaborate with the experts at RISE to continue to improve our process for high volume production."
