Cell Impact signs agreement valued at 3.2 million SEK
A leading Japanese, global supplier has placed an order with F.C.C., encompassing design, tools, and prototypes, which Cell Impact AB (publ) will deliver.
The order is a direct result of the elaborated collaboration between Cell Impact AB (publ) and Japanese company F.C.C. Co., Ltd., which commenced with the installation of a demonstration line at F.C.C.’s facility in late 2022.
“The company that placed the order was one of the companies that evaluated Cell Impact Forming™, our unique and patented forming technology, at F.C.C. The order includes the design of tools and flow plates, as well as the production of forming tools and a prototype series of customized flow plates," says Daniel Vallin, interim CEO of Cell Impact.
In this transaction, F.C.C received the order from the global supplier, and Cell Impact received the order from F.C.C.. The order value amounts to 3.2 million SEK, and deliveries are expected during the fourth quarter of 2024. The tools will be manufactured by Cell Impact in Karlskoga, Sweden, and prototype production will occur in Karlskoga and the prototype production will be delivered from F.C.C’s facility in Hamamatsu, Japan, to the global supplier.
F.C.C. is a globally established supplier to the automotive industry. Some of the company’s strengths are its size, infrastructure, and long-established networks within Automotive.
