Cell ITS restructures business - sells unit in Åkarp Cell ITS, a niche company within the Cell Network Group, is restructuring its training business and is selling its mechanics and electronics unit in Åkarp to MSE AB. Cell ITS (Interactive Training and Simulation) is restructuring its business and is selling its mechanics and electronics unit in Åkarp, complete with its six employees, to MSE AB in Älmhult. "The sale of the business in Åkarp is in line with our strategy to concentrate our business on the software aspects within simulation and industrial e-learning", says Claes-Erik Frölund, MD of Cell ITS AB. Cell ITS will continue to act as a universal contractor, but has chosen to work with select subcontractors in mechanics and electronics. MSE AB will remain as on of the main partners of Cell ITS. "By acquiring the business we will further strengthen our competence within military educational systems", says Micael Schmitz, MD MSE AB. "We will manage the competence that Cell ITS has built, and this competence will also be of importance to our customers on the 'civilian market'."
