Cell Network AB and OM Stockholm Stock Exchange agree on pooling issue Cell Network AB (publ) has chosen to follow the Urgent Issues Committee of the Swedish Financial Accounting Standards Council´s recommendation regarding accounting principles in conjunction with the merger of Linné Group AB, New Media Science ASA and Cell Consulting Group AB. This means that Cell Network AB will apply the purchase method, instead of the pooling method, in the new Group's accounts. Background The Urgent Issues Committee of the Swedish Financial Accounting Standards Council considers that the pooling method is not applicable in the merger of the three companies. The Board of Directors of Cell Network AB has therefore decided to follow the OM Stockholm Stock Exchange's guidelines for reporting the merger. Effects on Group profit The effects on the Group's profit and financial position resulting from applying the purchase method are presented in the Company's interim report for the period from January to September, 1999. The Internet company Cell Network AB (publ) is listed on the OM Stockholm Stock Exchange's O-list and has international operations in several countries.
