Cell Telecom develops Internet portal for accountants and economists Cell Telecom has developed an Internet portal for Swedish firm, Contaplus Sverige. The portal is intended for people working in accounting, auditing and financial control. The project, under way since May, saw the involvement of seven members of staff from Cell Telecom. The Contaplus.se portal is aimed at both private individuals and companies operating in the field of accounting, auditing and financial control. The portal offers a complete range of services to make life easier for people in their professional roles and careers. Among other things, users can take advantage of news services within the field of economics and accounting, are able to view past exchange rates and market prices or can take part in a discussion forum. Users can also find out information about rates, make use of a training option or look at job vacancies. Cell Telecom was responsible for the project, supplying all parts that make up the portal - from the systems design, the database set-up and project management to its appearance, usability and content. The portal is operated via Cell Network in Gothenburg. - It was hugely important for us to work with a supplier capable of understanding our needs and able to supply the whole concept. In parallel with the project, Cell Telecom also set up our internal data network for our office, something which was extremely important if we are to achieve a good final result, says Patrik Dreber, Head of Marketing at Contaplus. - We were given the contract because we offer not only project management but also advanced technology, design, content and functionality. The fact that we also are able to offer operation of the system from a complete operating centre means that Cell Telecom is an attractive business partner to work with, comments Joakim Harging, Sales Manager at Cell Telecom. The value of the order in Stage 1 is put at around SEK 1.5 million. During the autumn, work is to continue on the development of the portal. Contaplus.se is to be launched on 2 October.
