Cell Telecom signs contract with Micromuse
Cell Telecom signs contract with Micromuse Nasdaq-listed Micromuse Inc, the leading supplier of software for net and service monitoring, has signed a contract with Cell Telecom, a company within the Cell Network group, as a new retailer for Micromuse's Netcool product family. Cell Telecom's business unit for Network Management focuses on services and solutions to make the telecom operators' operations more efficient, and contributes to improving the quality of their networks, services, and relations with end customers. Through this collaboration with Micromuse, Cell Telecom can offer a wider range of solutions for net and service monitoring to operators and service providers on the telecom market. Among other things, Netcool can be used to monitor various types of net infrastructures and maintain the availability of the customers' net-based services and applications. The software will also be used for companies and organisations that are increasingly dependent upon the Internet for their operations.
