New co-operation with Cendio surrounding free software Cell Network and Cendio Systems have signed a co-operation agreement relating to solutions for the Linux operating system and free software. Together, the partners will offer new companies a complete range of services to help them get their businesses up-and-running more quickly. Cendio is to supply a platform for the development of various solutions based on free source codes, while Cell Network will be responsible for business development, development resources and design. The aim is to considerably shorten the lead time, in other words the time from the initial idea to the time a new company is established on the market. - Cendio is a perfect partner for us because our solutions are often based on free software, says Anders Wallenquist, Managing Director at Cell Consulting Group Öst AB. The joint venture means that entrepreneurs within, let us say, the wireless Internet industry will be able to concentrate on putting their business concept into practice whilst spending less time on administration surrounding technical issues and infrastructure. - There is an element of dynamism surrounding free software, which makes it a very interesting area to pursue, says Thomas Rosén, Area Manager Systems Integration at Cendio. There is an active exchange between those who are developing solutions using this method, leading to a rapid pace of development. - For more information please contact: Anders Wallenquist, Managing Director, Cell Consulting Group Öst AB, phone + 46-13-253401, + 46-709-565 160 Arvid Liepe, Investor Relations, Cell Network AB (publ), phone + 46-8-5220 44286, + 46-709-565185 Thomas Rosén, Area Manager, Systems Integration, Cendio Systems AB, phone + 46-13-214600, + 46-70-979 7445 About Cendio: Cendio Systems, the leading Linux company in Sweden, develops and markets systems solutions, integral systems and security products.
