Utfors has intensified its collaboration with Cell Network in the development of a broadband platform for consumer and corporate services. The assignment is worth MSEK 25. Cell Network has been entrusted with the task of working with Utfors to develop a concept version of their platform for broadband services. This project will bring together strategic expertise from both companies. Utfors, which supplies both data traffic and fixed and mobile telephony, is now ready for the next phase: broadband services for media consumption aimed at the consumer and corporate market. "We have found a partner who shares our aim to lead developments in the field of broadband. It is also important for Utfors to work with a supplier that maintains a high level of quality over a wide range of services. Understanding of the needs and conditions of this new media field is an important complement to our skill within data and technology," says Jan Werne, MD at Utfors. "This assignment is proof of Cell Network's standing among the world's leading Internet consultancy companies. The new framework agreement is valid until 30 June, 2001.
