CELLPOINT AND MICRONET CREATE MICRONET MLS TO DEVELOP MOBILE LOCATION SERVICES Stockholm/Ronneby, December 11, 2000 CellPoint Inc. (Nasdaq: CLPT) announces a new joint venture has been formed by global location-based solutions provider CellPoint Systems and Swedish software firm Micronet AB to provide consulting and product development for the mobile location services market. Micronet MLS (Mobile Location Services) will be located in Karlskrona, Sweden, the heart of the TelecomCity Network and one of the world's most dynamic regions for Mobile Internet development. CellPoint owns 58% of the joint venture. The CEO will be Mikael Roos, who has an excellent development track record at Ericsson Software Technology and Micronet AB. Also on the board will be Micronet's Christer Gavuzzi, CellPoint Europe's CEO Lars Persson and Johan Falk, Vice President of Business Development at CellPoint Europe.
