CellPoint Unwire Joins European Vending Trade Association Stockholm, February 27, 2001 - CellPoint Unwire, the wireless telemetry business area of CellPoint Inc. (www.unwire.com, www.cellpoint.com), has been approved as a member of the European Vending Association (EVA). An EVA membership enables close contact and cooperation with the leading vending machine manufacturers in the world. Unwire is already a member of the corresponding Swedish association. "EVA gives us access to software, technological standards and the opportunity to participate in trade shows and congresses and create new business contacts with quality vending machine manufacturers and operators," said Michael Wallón, Vice President, Market and Business Development at Unwire. "About 50 EVA members create, among other things, business advantages for members and technological standards for vending machines. Through the membership, Unwire will work as an adviser, and we will be able to share our competence within GSM and cellular network communication with our colleague members."
