EuroTel Chooses CellPoint in Launch of Location Technology and Services Brno, Czech Republic, October 9 -- CellPoint Inc. (Nasdaq: CLPT; www.cellpt.com) announces the agreement with EuroTel Praha Ltd. of the Czech Republic for CellPoint's Mobile Location Services platform and applications. EuroTel is launching the Resource Manager today at INVEX, the International Fair for Communication and Information Technology, taking place in Brno this week. "Our customers of course want to stay ahead, so we are leading these changes to give them the highest quality innovation and therefore best value services," states Alexander Winkler, Deputy Managing Director of EuroTel. "These services are extremely useful for businesses such as sales firms, transport companies and courier services because they improve efficiency while also minimising operational costs. The added advantage is low investment, especially when compared to GPS systems. EuroTel, using CellPoint's latest Location-Based Service technology, is able to offer its customers this service based on their current mobile phones and SIM cards." "EuroTel is known in the industry as a very technically advanced operator and we are pleased to be chosen as their partner for location services," said Lars Persson, CEO of CellPoint Europe. "This order further emphasises CellPoint's leadership role in this growing industry - we are especially proud since EuroTel formally requested quotations from the location services industry, and after evaluating the proposals, they chose CellPoint." The CellPoint software-based solution, which was tested this summer during the tender process, enables EuroTel to offer location services using their existing GSM network without doing any changes or additions to their network. Resource Manager enables transport, security, service and sales organisations to be more efficient and to increase customer satisfaction by routing their vehicles and mobile personnel more effectively.
