SOS Alarm and Unwire Sign Agreement Positioning, Security and Telematics Services to be Jointly Marketed Stockholm, March 13 -- Swedish-based emergency operator SOS Alarm AB (www.sosalarm.se) has signed an agreement to join forces with CellPoint (NASD: CLPT; www.cellpt.com) subsidiary Unwire to provide new services across Sweden. SOS Alarm provides a nation-wide rescue centre organization and has more than 25 years experience providing alarm services to individuals, public and private companies. Their centres in every county in Sweden are manned around the clock, all year round by 600 specially- educated SOS operators who receive approximately 16 million calls per year. SOS Alarm and Unwire will together market products and services for positioning, security and telematics. "Unwire and SOS are aiming for the new big market in telematics," said Thomas Stenbäck, Business Development Manager with SOS Alarm. "We have already tested Unwire's products for use with our Alarm centres and have started to market these products." SOS Alarm is already working with Europolitan and Telia, two of the Swedish cellular operators, so it will be possible for these services to be available to most cellular subscribers in Sweden. Initially, SOS Alarm will market alarm services for Unwire's GSM Server terminal products for telematics and logistics applications. Swedish GSM operator Europolitan will be the first operator in Scandinavia with the platform that supports these services. SOS will also market alarm and positioning services for personal security and vehicle security.
