CellTribe and BIT launch new WAP service providing financial news CellTribe has launched a new mobile service together with BIT, part of Sifo Group's Observer Media Intelligence division. It is now possible to directly, through a WAP-enabled device, access press releases and reports from the vast majority of Swedish companies listed on the stock exchange. This is the first service in a suite of financial services that CellTribe will provide professional and private users in the 'My CellTribe' mobile portal. -"Our strategy is to provide services that are of high value to the modern nomad. Press releases and other financial information will now be available through the WAP-phone at the same time as they are distributed through real- time systems (SIX, Reuters, Bloombergs, Ecovision, and Bridge). Our aim is to launch several new services during the fall," says CellTribe president Anne Lidgard. The service is already fully functioning and has been tested for a longer period of time with readily available WAP-clients, including the Nokia 7110. The service is accessible via the 'My CellTribe' portal at wap.celltribe.com/index.wml.
