Celsius gets wind-tunnel contract from Boeing

Boeing awards wind-tunnel contract Aero Systems Engineering Inc. (ASE), part of the Celsius Group, has been awarded a contract to modernize Boeing's transonic wind-tunnel facility in Seattle, Washington. The contract involves design, fabrication, equipment supply and installation of a major portion of the tunnel. The work is expected to continue over a period of 30 months. This brings the 1998 year-to-date firm orders to over 36 MUSD. In addition to this, ASE previously announced a 38 MUSD five-year task-order contract with NASA-Langley. ASE is based in St. Paul, Minnesota, U.S.A., develops and manufactures systems and facilities for testing jet engines and engine components. Operations also comprise wind-tunnel tests and wind-tunnel facilities for the aviation and automotive markets.
