Interview Opportunities - Celebrate National Chip Week with Your Local Chippies

National Chip Week (15 – 21 February 2010) is an annual celebration our nation’s favourite – chips. See below for ways you can get involved… • Interview one of your local chip shops. Whether it’s a chippy with an interesting story to tell or a third generation family run business, find out what they are doing to celebrate National Chip Week… • Cook up some of the mouth-watering chip recipes from www.lovechips.co.uk • How about celebrating National Chip Week by explaining the colourful history of chips and how they still hold a special place in our hearts 150 years on? Throughout National Chip Week we will be celebrating chips in a number of ways: • Find out from Monday 15th February what gives chips the X factor • Discover the chip eating habits in your region from Tuesday 16th February, including that age old debate - fingers or forks? Spokespeople available for interview throughout the week, include experts in nutrition and behaviour, sociolinguistics and food history. All are on hand to help explain why we love chips.
