Ceridian launches cloud-based version of award-winning Human Capital solution HRevolution

Ceridian, one of the UK’s leading HCM technology and service providers, is launching its latest cloud-based product, HRevolution, at the HR Software Show. The award-winning product, which is relied upon by some of the UK’s top trusted brands, incorporates ten modules accessed via one unique experience and has been built on the back of 2,000 man years of development.

Highlights of the release include a mobile app, the availability of the technology on any device or browser, instant payroll results and improved ease of use. It has a number of benefits compared to traditional software solutions.

We have listened to our customers and they wanted a product that is easy to use, has easy analytics and reporting, is quick to set-up and is future proof. Our latest solution has been built on these principles and is the richest and most intuitive solution we have ever released. “We wanted to make the experience for our customers’ employees a positive one. HRevolution can be accessed on any device and at any time and our mobile app is very rich in functionality so employees can complete tasks on the go such as submitting holiday requests and expenses, viewing their payslips and updating their personal details. This will make it easier for them to manage their work lives. For example, it will speed up the expense process by 75 per cent while also reducing the company expense bill by around four per cent.”

The payroll solution has been further modernised to produce instant results and the ability to calculate the payroll when it suits the users which will improve productivity and payroll accuracy.

Analytics and reporting are now available on tablet devices. There are 300+ ready-made charts so business leaders and HR teams can get the information they need in seconds. Features include automated organisation reports, the creation of report packs at the touch of a button and predictive analytics to measure how changes today will impact tomorrow’s business metrics.

Module Feature Benefits

HR

HRevolution delivers one HR system with one simple and effective solution. Key data can be centralised to gain consistency across teams. The set-up process has been simplified, with implementations completed up to 25 per cent faster. Manual organisational charts are a thing of the past. Up-to-date charts can be set up in minutes for any team in the organisation.

Payroll

Payroll has been re-defined with the most intuitive payroll solution ever. Payroll can be calculated when it suits and delivers instant results for any variations made at any time. Payroll queries are reduced by up to 75 per cent and dynamic online payslips have help tools built-in. The ease of mobile access to current and historic payslips also helps drive employee engagement.

Separately, expenses are paid faster. Expenses are now very straightforward. The process can be speeded up by 75 per cent with clever app use, and costs reduced by four per cent with greater visibility of claims.

Pensions Auto-Enrolment

The Auto-Enrolment module ensures that organisations are fully compliant. It supports and automates many aspects of the administrative burden of the pension reform including generating mandatory communication to employees, handling sophisticated salary sacrifice arrangements the moment pay is calculated, managing the postponement periods and handling refunds in the payroll if an employee chooses to opt-out. The burden of manual administration is reduced significantly. The module also manages the electronic exchange of data between payroll and pension solutions and pension providers. A streamlined version of the auto enrolment module is also available for SMEs.

Workforce Management

Besides maximising staff rostering, both in terms of staffing levels and reducing NI contributions, the workforce management module will ensure organisations employing foreign workers are fully compliant with legislation by ensuring employees have the documents they need to work in the UK.

Mobile

Managers can save at least two hours a week by completing key tasks on the go, at any time, from a smartphone or tablet. With multi-browser and platform support, HRevolution has one look and feel wherever and however accessed. Leave requests can be approved in seconds rather than minutes, by managing absence on the go with calendar and email integration. HRevolution is designed to work around employees and their lifestyles, with richer functionality offered than any other UK solution.

Analytics

The analytics module allows organisations to identify and develop their brightest stars, based on criteria that matter so that the full potential of employees can be unlocked. Talent pools can be created for finding and recruiting new stars. Up to 20 per cent greater efficiency can be achieved with 300+ ready-made charts and further visual options. Report production for meetings can be done at the touch of a button, saving up to a week of employee time. Data can be interpreted better, producing results that can be used to easily benchmark against similar companies. Predictive tools help measure how changes today will impact tomorrow’s business metrics. The impact of employees on financial business metrics can be demonstrated with quantifiable evidence produced by the analytics tool. Best of all, no IT or specialist knowledge is required.
