Keynote speaker – Steve Webb MP, Minister for Pensions

Panel session – ‘Fast Changing World, Fast Changing Technology’

Over 500 delegates are so far registered for the 2014 Ceridian Customer Conference taking place on Wednesday February 26 at the London Hilton, Park Lane. Organised by one of the world’s leading HCM technology and service providers, the Ceridian conference will tackle the latest HR, payroll, pensions and technology hot issues.

Doug Sawers, managing director of Ceridian UK, said: “Building upon the record attendance at last year’s event, this year’s conference promises to be better still. We are delighted to welcome back Minister for Pensions, Steve Webb MP as our keynote speaker. He will review automatic pension auto enrolment over one year on and take questions from the floor.

“Auto enrolment represents the biggest change to the cost of employment to hit UK businesses in the last 15 years and this year sees eight times as many organisations staging. The question is: are they all prepared? And does the industry have the capacity to cope in ensuring all customers become compliant on time? Our conference will attempt to answer some of these burning questions.

“A key draw for delegates in the morning will be the whole topic of the future of technology which will be evaluated by Tom Standage, digital editor at The Economist, ahead of a panel discussion on the subject relating to HR, payroll and pensions. This will inevitably throw up some interesting viewpoints from our panellists.

“We have a series of breakout sessions throughout the day from a Marks & Spencer transformational change programme case study to an attention-grabbing talk on recipes for success in the modern workplace presented in her unique style by Pinky Lilani OBE. With such an attractive agenda, no wonder so many people are attending.”

The 2014 Ceridian Customer Conference is being held on Wednesday February 26 at the London Hilton, Park Lane.
