Certified Payment Processing Helps Employee Impacted by Recent Tornadoes

Carrollton, Texas (April 10, 2012) Last week, North Texas was hit by a series of tornadoes. According to the National Weather Service, up to 16 tornadoes battered the area. Fortunately, no one was killed, but there were millions of dollars worth of property damage. At the same time, there were also storms which brought hail and high wind to the area. It’s estimated that 350 homes were destroyed, and more than 1,000 were damaged.

When it was learned that Regina Upshaw, one of the Certified Payment Processing (CPP) employees, had sustained damage to her house, the department where she worked decided to help.

“I notified our team as soon as we learned,” say Leo Farias, manager of the CPP Call Center. “We started a collection, and almost immediately had more than five hundred dollars. I believe more will be coming in as well.”

Regina intends to use the money for some immediate repairs, and hopes to share with her neighbor, whose home was also damaged.
