Cevian Capital controls 4.64% of Swedbank AB (publ.)

Please be advised that Cevian Capital controls c. 4.64% of the shares in Swedbank AB (publ.) through Cevian Capital II (and associated fund entities) and a long-term agreement with a co-investor. Cevian’s Funds own 41 523 931 shares in Swedbank which represents c. 3.58% of the total number of shares. The co-investor, entities controlled by the US investor Carl Icahn, holds an additional c. 1.06% of the company’s total number of shares.
