Two children [names withheld for privacy] arrive in Israel on April 19, 2012 after being evacuated as part of Children of Chernobyl’s 97th rescue mission. 26 children (10 boys, 16 girls) landed safely in Israel just days before the 26th anniversary of the Chernobyl nuclear disaster.

About Us

Chabad's Children of Chernobyl (CCOC) is a not-for-profit organization that evacuates children who suffer from many medical maladies as a result of the nuclear reactor explosion in Chernobyl. CCOC provides them with critical medical care, new homes, and an excellent education. To date, 2,822 children have been evacuated on 97 rescue missions.
