– Vi lägger ett tunt lager av plasten på en glasskiva och kan sedan skapa detaljerade mönster med hjälp av elektroner. Resultatet är en metayta som kan fokusera ljus som en vanligt lins, men som är tusentals gånger tunnare och också kan göras böjbar, säger Daniel Andrén, doktorand på institutionen för fysik på Chalmers.
