HOPPECKE INDUSTRIAL BATTERIES APPOINTS NEW PR AGENCY

Hoppecke Industrial Batteries, based in Newcastle-under-Lyme, is aiming to enhance its profile in both the traditional media and online with the appointment of a new PR agency. From its offices in Stafford, Changeworks Communications will provide a range of services to Hoppecke, including the print and design of newsletters and literature. As well as focusing on traditional marketing and PR functions, Changeworks will also develop and manage an on-line media centre and design a UK website. Sue Tupling, Changeworks Managing Director, explained: “Hoppecke is one of Europe’s most prestigious battery brands and has an excellent environmental track record. “In the UK it has developed a strong presence in the motive power sector and we will help it build a similar reputation in reserve power and special power systems.” The contract win will involve building relationships with the manufacturing trade press and national, regional and local media.
