New appointments at mhl Support

Health and Safety and Employment law compliance experts’ mhl Support has made two new appointments to its growing team. The company, which is based in Newcastle-under-Lyme, Staffordshire, has recently seen an upwards trend in business and the latest additions add extra value to the bottom line services that mhl provides to its customers. Lee Sirkin has been appointed Health and Safety and Environment Consultant for the London area. Lee who has lived in the capital all his life, joined mhl after a career working for some of the UK’s biggest mobile telecom companies. With a first class honours graduate in Environmental Science from Kingston University, Lee is delighted to be part of the mhl team. “It’s a great opportunity for me to continue to focus on the Health and Safety and Environmental sectors of compliance,” said Lee. “After working with some large global companies, it’s great to be able to add real value to SME companies.” Joining Lee is Kevin Mellor who has recently been promoted to Process and Business Improvement Manager. Kevin has worked for the company for six years and has naturally progressed through the administration and sales side of the business to take charge of developing and implementing ISO: 9001. After serving nine years in the Royal Navy, Kevin joined mhl Support and has taken the opportunity to retrain using the “PRINCE2” project management scheme, becoming proficient in the application of ISO: 9001 and ISO: 14001. He is currently studying for the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development’s “Professional Development Scheme” with Staffordshire University. “Kevin’s progression through the company is a great personal achievement,” said mhl Managing Director, Michael Slade. “Through correct training he has adapted his learning in the workplace and is already rising to the challenges that his new position is creating. Lee Sirkin comes to mhl with lots of experience in the areas of Health and Safety and Environmental compliance.
