The UK’s national Cat® Lift Truck distributor and service provider, Briggs Equipment has launched the new Cat NTR30N tow truck as part of its Warehouse equipment range. With increased productivity and improved safety, the NTR30N provides the operator with a dramatically enhanced working environment. The tow truck’s advanced multifunctional steering wheel allows both steering and speed to be controlled with one hand, providing easy access to all other functions. This ensures improved response and precision though the entire speed range. The NTR30N, designed to pull multiple trailers with a maximum total weight of 3000kg, offers quicker acceleration and control with its high performance AC drive system. This improves overall operator efficiency. “Ensuring a safe working environment for the operator is a fundamental focus of Cat lift trucks,” commented Tony Rooney, sales and marketing director at Briggs Equipment. “The NTR30N provides the operator with exceptional comfort and control which is paramount for optimum productivity.” Additional features to the NTR30N include white LED front lights which help improve visibility in areas with poor light conditions. Also, the polypropylene front cover panel acts as a shock absorber to protect against bumps. These built-in safety features help contribute to lower damage costs. “The Cat NTR30N is an ideal choice for many indoor towing applications, especially in the automotive industry. We are very pleased with this new environmentally friendly addition to the warehouse fleet, due to its low energy consumption and use of recyclable materials,” continues Tony Rooney. With Briggs Equipment’s national service, local engineers are available to deliver the highest quality service and preventative maintenance to minimise damage and costs. The Cat NTR30N has been designed to keep maintenance downtime to a minimum so it can always perform at its best. - - - ENDS - - - Images to accompany this release: High res images to download for print: Click here and here
