Staff at Bibby Consulting & Support have again shown their generosity by filling shoe boxes with an array of essential items and goodies as part of Operation Christmas Child. Twenty four shoe boxes have now been filled and wrapped up at the Newcastle-under-Lyme based firm which specialises in employment law and healthy and safety compliance. They will now be distributed amongst children in the UK and some of the toughest parts of the world. Last year, Operation Christmas Child, the world’s largest children’s Christmas project, filled almost 1.2 million shoe boxes and this year marks the 20th anniversary of when the campaign started. The shoe boxes contain all sort of items, from toys to educational supplies, plus hygiene items and sweets and this is the second year that staff at Bibby Consulting & Support have supported the appeal. Leading the campaign at Bibby Consulting & Support, is Client Relationship Manager Sarah Mansfield, who said: “This project is a great way to spread some Christmas joy at this time of year, so we’re only too happy to get involved. “My thanks go to my colleagues who have kindly donated items so many items, enabling us to fill quite a number of shoe boxes.” - ENDS - High resolution image to support this release: click here
