West Boulevard Library branch turns 30
The West Boulevard branch of Charlotte Mecklenburg Library (2157 West Boulevard, Charlotte) is turning thirty this year. To mark the anniversary, the branch is hosting a free, public celebration on Wednesday, September 16, 2015.
“Along with the West Boulevard Library staff, I am excited to celebrate our thirty years serving the community," said Julie Ward, Manager. "We are committed to providing great programs and services to our customers and we are proud to know that in doing so we make a difference in their lives. We look forward to continuing it for the next 30 years!”
The celebration will include remarks from Library staff and members of the West Boulevard community, as well as music from Sign of the Times and a casual luncheon.
