Charlotte Mecklenburg Library wins “Excellence in Innovation"

Charlotte Mecklenburg Library was one of three partners in the Foundation Center Funding Information Network recognized with an inaugural “Excellence in Innovation Award.” The Foundation Center Funding Network is the leading source of information about philanthropy worldwide. Charlotte Mecklenburg Library, and Lydia Towery, who directs the center’s activities at the Library, were recognized for demonstrating creativity and commitment in leveraging their resources to amplify their community outreach regionally.
