Tech company Regily, that changes how people all over the world checkin with services online, continues their expansion. Last week they communicated about an oversubscribed private placement with top tech investors followed by the launch of Checkin.com. The company have simultaneously continued building their global team with several key recruitments. Regily’s latest signing is the company’s new Head of Communications Jonas Köpniwsky, who previously held the same position at PwC Sweden.

Regily was founded by former product experts of Klarna in 2017, and has since then focused on their mission to radically change how people checkin to services online. The company recently released a third generation software with the launch of Checkin.com and also closed an oversubscribed private placement. The placement attracted top Nordic tech investors TIN Funds, Erik Selin, Knutsson Holdings and Norron Funds. This adds them to other financial profiles already invested in Regily such as Nicklas Storåkers, Anders Borg, former Swedish Minister of Finance, and international banker Eirik Winter.

The purpose of the private placement was mainly to increase focus on sales and marketing activities and to expand to new verticals. Regily has since start recruited on a global level to attract the best talents and the team is today working from 13 countries across several continents and time zones.

“We are in a very interesting phase as a company, with a lot of interesting stuff in front of us and a massive need for recruiting. We will continue with the strategy that has served us so well since the start, to recruit on a global level to find the best talents no matter where they live. The best way for us to fulfill our vision, to radically change how people checkin to services online, is to be a small but fiercely effective team with brilliant people”, says Kristoffer Cassel, CEO and founder of Regily.

Jonas Köpniwsky, new Head of Communications, joins from the consultancy giant PwC where he was overall responsible for the company’s internal and external communication in Sweden. He has also worked with communication at fintech success Klarna for several years.

“I have been following Kristoffer’s and Alexey’s journey with Regily since we got to know each other at Klarna, and it is impressive how quickly they have managed to build a company with massive ambition, strong growth and a profitable business model. When I learned that there was a chance for me to support Regily’s continued expansion I was very excited. We will now start working with our overarching communication and brand to really make an impact on a global level. The ambition within the team is sky high, which gives a lot of energy, and I look forward to an interesting spring and summer”, concludes Jonas Köpniwsky.
