Chemetall’s Gardobond® EPP Process Wins the Battle against Higher Energy Prices
New Providence, NJ June 24, 2011 – Chemetall, an innovator in surface treatment, drastically reduces customers’ energy costs with their Gardobond® EPP Process. EPP or Enhanced Performance Pretreatment, is a novel conversion coating method that can be used in a variety of paint pretreatment applications. With an ability to work at ambient temperatures, EPP reduces energy consumption and overall costs.
Highly adaptable, EPP can be used in both spray and immersion systems without line modifications. It is compatible with mild steel equipment and most tap water. The innovative formulation uses less water, reduces regulated wastewater discharge and minimizes the overall steps required in conventional pretreatment procedures.
“We are committed to offering the highest quality products while making every effort possible to save our customers’ valuable time, money and energy. I believe our Gardobond EPP Process achieves all of those goals,” said Julia Murray, Vice-President of Technical Marketing at Chemetall.
