ChemImage Hires New Controller
PITTSBURGH, August 15, 2012 — ChemImage Corporation is pleased to announce that Mark C. Brooks, MBA, CPA, joined the company as the new Controller, effective August 13th.
In his new role, Brooks will be responsible for the core financial operations of the company and oversee all daily accounting activity. He will provide leadership and coordination of the company’s financial planning, forecasting and budgeting functions.
“Mark is a great addition to our growing company,” said Jim McGlone, President of ChemImage. “His finance and accounting background will provide us with the help we need to sustain steady growth and make sound business decisions for the company.”
With over fifteen years of accounting and finance experience in corporate environments and public accounting, Brooks brings a combination of strategic planning, project management, and audit experience to the company. He comes from Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield, where he spent approximately four years as the Finance Director for a multi-billion dollar business unit.
Brooks is a long time Pittsburgh resident, starting his career at KPMG LLP and earning his MBA at the Katz Graduate School of Business at the University of Pittsburgh. He is an active member in his community as the Finance Committee Chair at his church, St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Sewickley, and is a baseball coach in the Avonworth Athletic Association.
