As part of its on-going business development plan, members of the A1 Motor Factor Group recently met  and agreed an increase in the scope of its trade marketing programme.

With the continuing growth of and subsequent competition from national motor factor chains,  independents need to raise their profile in order to be able to fight back and retain their customers and their profit margins.

The A1 Motor Factors Group will now be supporting its members by providing a range of marketing material, that can be personalised for the individual member in order to maintain existing partnerships and build closer business relationships with their customers.  The range includes sales and information brochures, regular customer special offer and incentive flyers, garage job diaries and year planners, plus an exciting scratch card promotion to support the exclusive “Technopart” brand programme.

The ever-expanding Technopart product programme, which includes coil springs, rotating electrics, ignition coils, batteries and wheel bearings, gives members the opportunity to compete directly with the national chains whilst retaining their margins. This is made possible by the purchasing power of the A1 Motor Factor Group as a whole, which allows an individual business to buy quaility products at similar prices to a national chain.
