Automotive industry charity BEN kicked off the festive season at London’s Grosvenor House Hotel on Wednesday 8 December with the 76th BEN Ball. The night saw over a thousand industry leaders and guests enjoy a night of stellar entertainment, including a turn by Britain’s Got Talent winners Spelbound. The night saw guests dig deep for their industry charity and raise an incredible £260,000 for BEN; the highest amount raised for four years. BEN’s Chief Executive, David Main, commented; “Every aspect of this year’s ball has been incredible. We’ve seen the number of attendees increase dramatically on last year, just showing how much the industry is behind their charity. With your help the night made a wonderful £260,000; an amount which will make a huge difference to the lives of our colleagues in need. Most importantly, however, we’ve seen over a thousand of our esteemed colleagues have a wonderful night and spread the word about the help and support that BEN provides to so many men, women and children who might otherwise have nowhere to turn. “May I take this opportunity to thank everybody involved; the guests, staff and organisers who have made sure that the night went with a bang and really kicked of our industry’s festive season in style.” ENDS.
