Almark Garage Takes The First Line Prize

Alongside a wide range of its matching original equipment quality products that First Line had on display from its stand at the recent AutoCare conference at Celtic Manor, the company was also keen to show its charitable credentials by donating a prize of a performance driving day at the Castle Combe circuit for the charity raffle arranged by GROUPAUTO for the event.

The winning ticket, which was drawn during the dinner on the evening of the conference, was picked by Mark Swift of Almark Garage Ltd, an AutoCare network member based in Wirksworth, Derbyshire.

“I’m absolutely delighted to win this prize”, said Mark “I think I’ve only ever won a bottle of wine before, so to be able to take to the track and really let my hair down is a fantastic opportunity. I’m a keen driver and own a Mercedes C63, so I’m really looking forward to it.

However, the icing on the cake for Mark, who has been an AutoCare member since the group was first established, is that he can combine the day with a rare opportunity to see his daughter.

“For the day to be held at Castle Combe is great for me because my daughter is in the army and she’s based at Chippenham, which is just a stone’s throw from the circuit in Wiltshire, so to enjoy the event and to be able to see her too will be just great”, Mark added.

For First Line, national account manager Ian Boyle said: “We are a big supporter of GROUPAUTO and it’s nice for us to be able to support both AutoCare members and the three chosen charities, which were Weston Spirit, Marie Currie Cancer and the Cardiomyopathy Association.

A few days after the event Mark was personally presented with a winning certificate by Ian, GROUPAUTO’s Maria McCullough and Terry Newton of Almark’s GROUPAUTO factor supplier, PG Automotive.
