AUTOMECHANIKA DELIVERS FOR TECDOC

Shaun Greasley, commercial director for TecDoc UK and Eire has labelled the 2010 event: “The best show I’ve ever exhibited at!” Automechanika is generally accepted to be the finest automotive aftermarket trade event on the calendar and TecDoc, Europe’s leading parts information data provider has been an exhibitor at the biennial event since 1994. “In the lead-up to the show we were expecting a good things because of the size of the event and the number of key decision-makers that usually make the effort to be present,” said Greasley. “However, with the global economy looking more healthy than in the darkest days of the recession and with a number of customers pre-arranging meetings, our hopes were even higher than they would normal be. “As things turned out, we were flat out all day every day with serious visitors looking for parts identification and cataloguing solutions to help them run their businesses better. We were fully staffed with our technical support team, so they could fully demonstrate the CATALOG system and the many additional modules that can be added to it to provide the bespoke solutions that these businesses need. “I was particularly impressed with the number of visitors from the UK and Eire that were seriously interested in what TecDoc offers to the home market and for those wanting to develop their business in Europe and beyond. “It clearly showed the importance of Automechanika and how it is cementing its position as the flagship event for our industry.
