Dickies are delighted to announce being recently awarded ISO 14001:2004 by the BSI for Environmental Management as well as ISO 9001: for Quality Management that they have held for several years.

These international standards specify requirements for an environmental management system to enable an organization to develop and implement a policy and objectives. This system takes into account legal and other requirements in relation to significant environmental aspects. It applies to those environmental aspects which Williamson-Dickie Europe Limited, can control and those which it can influence.

Maurice Morton, Sales & Marketing Director at Dickies commented: "In order to gain certification, we conducted a full review of all environmental legislation which is applicable to us, in order to ensure that we were fully compliant.  All activities that have a potential impact on the environment were also scrutinised, to see where improvements could be made.

“Dickies will continue to ensure good environmental practices are being observed through a programme of detailed internal audits.  By recording all steps taken, and by demonstrating that the commitment to environmental responsibility has been adopted throughout the company.”

The standards will effectively demonstrate to their  customers that Dickies take their environmental responsibilities seriously.
