EALING TRAILFINDERS TO TACKLE THE ENGLISH SUMMER
With school over, the last thing kids and parents want is to be sitting at home. Unfortunately, the summer holidays have just become holidays as rain has become the norm in certain parts of the country, locking people indoors.
As a result of this, kids haven’t been able to do much but sit at home and glare at the television and play various electronic games that prevent them from healthy activity or just irritating the parents.
Ealing Trailfinders RFC is offering kids between the ages of 6-16 a chance to get out of the house and have some fun. A chance to improve their rugby skills, participate in numerous games and most importantly just get off the sofa at home and make the most of the summer.
The rugby camp will be run on two different weeks, giving kids of all ages and abilities the opportunity to make new friends through playing rugby. The first week will be a three-day camp from the 14thto the 16thof August, with the second event being a four-day camp, which commences on the 28th.August.
It is evident that Ealing Trailfinders RFC does not get enough credit in the local community for what it’s achieved. To be coached by a team that finished second in National League One table and only just missed out on promotion to the Championship is an opportunity in itself. Children will be learning from the very best, giving them a significant chance to improve their skills in the sport, as well as general team spirit and communication.
The younger additions to the camp will be involved more in fun & games and mini competitions to make their week enjoyable. The juniors will participate in games more specific to rugby in order to progress and improve their abilities.
The camps will run from 10am to 4pm everyday and if you do chose to participate it can cost as little as £22.50 a day. More importantly, Ealing Trailfinders RFC is also offering the chance for parents and kids to trial the camp, meaning you can send your son or daughter out for a day only, with the possibility of extending their time at the club if they enjoy their day out.
The camp will be held at the Trailfinders Sports Club on Vallis Way in Ealing. If you would like more information about any of the camps and what they offer you can contact Craig Bowley at crc@ealingrugby.co.uk.
