On Sunday 7 October, BEN the automotive industry charity will host its first Twilight Karting Championship at Rye House Kart Raceway in Hoddesdon.

This 2 hour Endurance Race will take place between 16:00 and 21:00 and is a great opportunity to test driving skills against other racing enthusiasts.  Before the event the professionals will racing in the MSA Karting Event – may be worth a visit for extra driving tips.

The entry fee is £250 for a team of 5 drivers and for every £50 of sponsorship raised by a team will take 1 second off their fastest qualifying lap time.  The amount raised can then be the deciding factor as to who is first or second on the starting grid for the endurance race.

Warren Neal, Events and Exhibitions Co-ordinator commented, “We are really looking forward to the new take on our Karting championship.  The evening event should really put people’s driving abilities to the test and make for an interesting evening under the flood lights.  Thank you for all supporting our cause.”
